    Fastsail is an association of high performance dinghies with single trapezes and symmetrical spinnakers.

The current members are the 470, 505, Fireball, Flying Dutchman, Hornet, Osprey & Javelin Classes. Their representatives act as a communication channel between the classes to organise combined events.

02/10 :  SGP 2008 Report, Photos & results

   Fastsail thanks Rutland Sailing Club for hosting the SGP 2008 and suceeding in completing three races in very light fickle winds.

Thanks to the generosity of the sponsors Hyde Sails, Harken, Craftinsure and Sailing Shirts there were many prizes.

Congratulations to Strang and Pippa Rogers (Hornet) on winning the Fastsail Trophy and to Pippa for winning, for the second time (with a different helm), the Ladies Sailing Shirts Shield for the first women overall.

The Osprey Class convincingly won the Fastsail Team Trophy for the second year running...each class needs to enter at least 5 boats to have a resaonable chance of winning this prestigous trophy - so line up your teams for SGP 2009 which will be hosted again by Rutland Sailing Club on 19/20 September 2009.
